A summer job at my hometown museum in 2009 got me hooked. Being surrounded by objects with so many stories to tell and being part of a team that was responsible for the stewardship of those memories marked me. I take this reminder into my work daily.

I come from a long line of beauty-seekers. My grandfather was a watercolour artist with a dazzling garden. He danced in the long shadows of the afternoon. My parents hear music all around them and see the delicate pattern on the underside of a leaf.
